Mountain Hike Nepal is a government-registered trekking company in Kathmandu, planning Himalayan treks, tours, and private journeys across Nepal. We work with licensed local guides and keep every itinerary practical, honest, and built around the traveller in front of us — not a fixed package copied from a brochure.
We’ve been planning treks since 2012 and running guided departures under our own registration since 2018. Every guide we work with is licensed by the Nepal government, and we handle each trip personally rather than through a call centre or booking platform. We plan routes across Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang, as well as private and customized journeys beyond the main trails.

Beautiful activity, great agency, and an excellent assigned Sherpa guide. Fantastic landscapes and a bit of effort, it’s not really a trek suitable for everyone and it’s definitely better to have a sleeping bag and a spirit of adaptation with you. The agency helped us out with some unexpected difficulties, giving us immediate assistance and alternative solutions, even in the middle of the night. Really excellent service.

A perfect, fast and efficient experience organizing a flexible itinerary trek in the Khumbu region with Mountain hike Nepal. I met Manesh on the morning I arrived in Kathmandu and by noon all was organised for me to depart on the night bus then flight to Lukla where I met the Trekking guide Pasang Sherpa and finalised the itineray wanted (for me anything but the EBC) a flexible route between the 3 passes trek and Gokyo trek… Perfect all along, good choice of tea houses, advices and local knowledge form the local guide… Unbeatable views, fun times, left the gide telling him he’s been more a friend than a random guide… Memories printed in my mind for long. Well recommended.
Experience to do at least once in a lifetime. The trek that we were told was easy, in fact in some places it is not (I speak as a poorly trained person). The guide assigned to us spoke fluent English and was attentive to our every request. The landscapes presented are wonderful and the local people are friendly. I recommend, as well as a minimum of training, a sleeping bag for the night (as the temperatures in the room are quite cold) and a good deal of adaptation since comfort is minimal. We had some difficulties in leaving Lukla because the weather was not favorable but the agency was activated in a very short time providing us with various solutions, even in the middle of the night. The seriousness of the agency and the guide are a fundamental point.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek with Mountain Hike Nepal was an excellent experience. Traveling solo, I particularly appreciated the presence of a friendly and experienced guide throughout the trek. The hiking days, accommodation, transportation, and overall organization were perfectly managed. The guide was attentive without being intrusive, which made the trek enjoyable and safe. Communication with the agency was also simple and clear. An excellent choice for anyone looking for a guided and well-organized trek in the Annapurna region.

I booked my Everest Base Camp trek with Mountain Hike Nepal in May 2026, and everything was arranged perfectly in advance, from the flight to Lukla and the guide to the teahouse accommodations. Kaji Sherpa was excellent, friendly, professional, and always helpful. The local food was fresh and available every day. Overall, it was a smooth, well-organized, comfortable and unforgettable trek. Highly recommended!
